LAW 42: PLAYERS CONDUCT


1. If only ONE League appointed Umpire is present Law 42 will NOT be applied as in The Laws.

There will be no suspensions or sendings off as required in level 3 or level 4 offences.

2. The League Umpire will assess the incident and speak to the player and Captain concerned (and warn

them if necessary). The Umpire will record the details. The game will then continue.

3. The Umpire will send in a Report to the Commitee by the following Monday. This Report will contain

the name(s)of the players concerned, and full details of the incident, indicatating what level of

offence (as in law 42) has been committed.

4. The Committee will consider the Report and take any disciplinary action by the following Friday.



STATEMENT BY THE LEAGUE COMMITTEE.

This will clarify the EDLCL position regarding Law 42 for all Players, Captains, and Umpires.
